Established by five Syrian women, Souriyat Across Borders cares for injured children, woman, and men from the Syrian refugee population in Jordan

They provide direct, ongoing care: medical treatment and rehabilitation therapy.

Another main function is support for Syrian students in completing their high school comprehensive exams, preparing them with special instructions for standardized college entrance exams.

Alalusi Foundation has been providing ongoing support to Souriyat Across Borders, and has made it a locus for our Jordan Medical Missions for providing mental health services, physical therapy, ob/gyn assessments and treatments, as well as providing play spaces and art supplies for children at the center.

In early 2017, Alalusi Foundation provided the multi-story SAB center with a stair-climer wheelchair-life, which has greatly increased accessiblity for the residents and patients at the facility.
